Thank you! This pairing wouldn't have been my first choice (that's why the McManus chapter is what it is), but Alvarez seemed to be one of the two characters (Beecher being the other) that he could conceivably wind up with (providing there are happy endings anywhere in Oz). The chemistry between the two is there in places, but there's also the natural gravity between two men who crave affection the way these two do, and that's what I tried to tap into.
