We wound up going there for a couple of reasons- my brother was directing a play ("Grand Forks?") that involved a road trip through SD and he wanted us to pick up props and also we'd been unprepared for the rain & cool weather that we ran into, so we picked up some touristy hoodies and sweatshirts and had lunch before heading to the Badlands (which also deserves a spot on any list of places I'd go back to).
