Metal Painting - still in progress

I noodled a bit on 4 of the small metal circles I've picked up from work. Here are the two I'm most pleased with. They are still wet, so I'll do another post when they and the others have dried.



This is actually the last one that I did- the blue doesn't show up as well in the picture




This is my favorite so far




I will post another of the set when they dry.

Oooh, neat. The first one reminds me of irises! Is this acrylics?

It is acrylics. I had a friend that did something like this and that was the paint she used. It worked pretty well.

If nothing else, it was a nice way to use the scrap metal from the shop at work.

Thanks. Those were the two that turned out best. I've got one that's a hot mess and another that's a little boring (which I painted right after the hot mess one so I had to dial it back.)

I'm hanging in there!

I haven't been around as much (either working on my fic, or not up to typing beyond poking a heart button), and I keep forgetting to check in here. I'm trying to remedy that.
