Getting the hair colored right before the tornado sirens go off is not great timing.

Apartment's still standing. We're all safe and the hair is a lovely shade of red.

Oh my! Thank goodness y'all are okay, including your hair! ;) Mind if I ask where y'all are? We're still stuck in 'Bama, and it's been storming like crazy here, but no tornadoes, at least that I know of.

A suburb of St Louis Missouri. Have had tornado watches & warnings most of my life (except when I lived in L.A.- and they just had one come through earlier this year.) The news coverage we get for any storm is over the top, but at least we know where the tornadoes have been sighted and which direction they might be heading.

It was a little unnerving.

It was a little unnerving. I spent the absolute minimum time washing the hair to get the color out and conditioning before heading down into the apartment stairwell.
