Challenge #4
In your own space, create some goals
I did a bit of this over at LJ at the beginning of the year, but here they are:
My two annual resolutions:
1. Be more kind
2. Write more
On the writing front:
1. Have more general check-ins and random observations (and maybe even cross-post a few of those to DW) - this was something I did at least once a day when I started out, but lately it's dwindled to once a month or every few months
2. Working on the hardtime100 prompts that I've missed. (I'm the prompter, so I really should do better at this)
3. More consistent writing - February generally gets a bump with
halfamoon and Femslash February, and November has NaNoWriMo, but the other months are all over the place. I'd like to write something or contribute to my WIP every day. My writing goal is 125,000 for the year which puts me somewhere around 6500 per month (excluding NaNo)
4. Write longer pieces - drabbles are well and good, but sometimes I want to develop something further.
Fandom things:
1. Find some new fandoms - "Clarice" might be good and "Resident Alien" looks like fun. And there's always finishing at least the first season of "The Wire"
2. Continue transferring my works to Ao3.
3. Engage better. Offer feedback and respond to feedback I've been given.
That feels pretty ambitious. If I make a few of these I'll be happy. We'll see how the year goes.
