TV Stuff - Prodigal Son & Batwoman

Prodigal Son was all about fathers and their children this week- there was the continuing saga of Malcolm and Martin (he's still in the mental hospital, despite what the commercials want you to think, but he's closer to getting out), the case of the week featured someone wanting to get away from their father, and JT (who was not in the episode) became a father. Other things- Edrisa got hurt and they glossed over it more than they should have (there should have been outrage), she was really cute at the beginning at the crime scene though, Jessica was overly involved where she shouldn't have been and Gil basically told her that he needed space, no Ainsley (although she seems like she's going to be featured big time next week), Dani was mostly background, but still awesome.

Batwoman - This was an awesome episode this week. Alice kept popping up everywhere- loved the scene with her and Julia especially. Mary is becoming more of a badass. The interrogation scenes were really cool. Sophie is still awful- can I hope that Julia takes up with Ryan, because Sophie needs to figure out her life before she can be with anybody. Ryan is awesome. She makes Kate look like she had a stick up her ass for all of last season. I like Ryan with all of her imperfections- she's a more interesting character. They're bringing Zsasz in soon and I'm really looking forward to that- hopefully this version of the character will be as good as the "Gotham" version.

I'm going to have to watch Prodigal Son tomorrow night, I think. My kid doesn't work on Thursdays so we usually watch something together with the other kid. But you have me intrigued.

Haven't been watching Batwoman though. Glad you're enjoying it. :)

I think Leslie is a better actor than Rose, she can emote and has some comedic ability. Rose got a raw deal, but I think the show might be better this way.

Poor Edrisa, that was so bad. Yeah, Ainsley has a lot ahead of her.
