Good grief, today was long....  I couldn't get any momentum developed.  The boss' wife was there today so that was instant tension - I did let a comment that my boss made about "men leaving all their stuff with their wives when they left them" go by without incident.  Just the idea that he was using the words "left his wife" in a sentence gives me great hope that one day it will happen.  If anybody knows a nice, single, heterosexual woman in her 30's that I can introduce him to, that would be great.  Of course I may fall victim to the "be careful what you wish for" scenario and whoever we wind up with will just make us all more miserable.  Better the devil you know and all that stuff.

Which brings me to the cliche challenge, I think I know what I'm going to do.  And it'll work out just fine according to what my personal pattern appears to be.  And the cliche holds true.  I checked out 4 of my scripts and the cliche is in each one.  It's sick.  But I like the character I'm writing about and I like my idea.

Netflix, after a month or two of stalling, has finally sent me "Lake Consequence".  I'm off to watch that now.  Love Billy Zane - he was the best thing about "Titanic".  I know, I know - when will she see it's all about the lovers and not about those peripheral characters?

Not tonight, that's for sure.

ZOMG...I forgot about Billy Zane! I didn't even know who he was until a year or so before Titanic, when he was in "The Phantom". I didn't even see the movie, but I saw him in an ad for it and drooled for about an hour...lol
