I'm glad I sent you the link then. Definitely wouldn't want you to miss one of their "happy" moments.
Sometimes, I can go with a "happily-ever-after" story, usually in the romantic comedy genre. But it's movies like "Casablanca", "The Way We Were", "L.A. Confidential" (because Bud & Ed really should have been together) and "Now, Voyager", that really appeal to me. Part of that is not having to face the reality of the established relationship.
Like if Dino and Ryan actually went to Florida on the fishing boat, they'd have about a week, maybe two of honeymoon bliss and then Ryan would be off prowling the coast and cheating on Dino, which would result in Dino killing Ryan. Or to be more mundane, the two of them having endless discussions and fights about how they're going to make ends meet since both of them have been cut off from their previous employers. (Just writing that sentence made my eyes glaze over.)
There will be more angst-filled times between the two coming soon!
