I'm back...

It's so good to be home.  I've actually been here for 3 nights now, but this is the first real free time that I've gotten.  Had a great time with the family.   My brother's play was alright - he stole the show, naturally.  Had fun with my sister - we played mini golf, I didn't suck as badly as I usually do, then watched about 8 episodes of "Firefly" and played this weird game called Munchkin (like a combo of Magic & any role playing game).  The shower was okay, although the punch (generally my favorite part of the shower) sucked.  Also nobody asked when I was going to get married.  Maybe they finally "get it".  Still, it would have been nice to be asked.  My parents are fine.  My niece is still adorable, even more so if that's possible.  It took me about two minutes to blow out the candles on the cake and there weren't that many.  My niece was helping and I was just getting a kick out of watching her, so I wasn't really into the whole blowing out the candles thing.  So possibly no 3 picture deal for me this year - and my mean evil wicked brain just asked "with what?"  Evil brain.  I would remove you but I may need you for Timmy Kirk later on.

I wrote two lovely works of fan fic which nobody will probably like since they are not B/K.  Honestly though, I get sick of B/K stuff.  There's such a glut of it.  The folks do a good job with it, I'm not slamming them, I just wish they would take a chance and do a good job with some other things.  I used Alvarez on the periphery in these two.  Brother is still working his way through the subconscious - probably a result of having squelched two previous Alvarez things.  But one is about Groves (one of my all-time favorite characters) and Leo (just because it fit).  Both are on my memories page for those who want to read them (who are not voyeurs from HardTime100)  That's it for now.  No Oz quotes tonight because I'm both tired and have been slacking - planning a super Oz-a-thon for Labor Day weekend.  TTFN.
