I'm at work (surprise!) The hard drive on the network server has gone down & the boss' wife is on the way in. Should be good times all around.

I've made the decision to continue my work on the Keller thing, but to put it on my final draft program and do it in screenplay format at first, just to get all of the dialogue out of the way from beginning to end. I know how it starts and how it ends, now it's just that pesky middle to get through and organize my dozen thoughts in a coherent way to make a nice little story. I'll put it into prose form afterward. Yes, it will take longer, but the Muse is hating the prose, keeps getting stuck in the language and really can be a perfectionist bitch if I get right down to it. So this is better. I'm trying not to go above 20 pages of script, which actually will translate down to about 5-7 pages of actual material when all is said and done (I hope) - I have 5 pages already, but most of the time the focus is off my pairing and it really has to be about them.

So, those who read my panicky post earlier, work didn't turn out too bad. My boss' wife got to go shopping for those memory chip thingys for all of us in the office so she was not foaming at the mouth when she came in. Of course, I also went to lunch the minute she walked in the building so she had about an hour to calm down. She made the comment to one of my co-workers that she felt like our mother. Honey, if that was true, I'd have run away at fifteen. So all is fairly well and I don't even need to listen to my Oz de-stress trilogy (The Truth & Nothing But, Napoleon's Boney Parts, and Legs). I may feel the need for 45 seconds of "A Word to the Wise" - my O'Reily lust has been a bit neglected lately.

Rehearsal tonight. Still loving the new director. Our choir loft is starting to overflow with people. Wouldn't mind having one more though.
