It was so wonderful being able to spend the morning at home. I watched football, saw the Fox NFL pregame show for the first time in ages. I love Pam Oliver, by the way. I think I've mentioned it before, but Fox does have the best women in sports. The Redskins/Cowboys game was phenomenal. But the nicest thing of all was being able to look at the clock at 12:30 and realize I was in my apartment and had the rest of the day to myself (normally I leave my place at 8:30 & don't get back until 2 or later). I worked some on the next segment of the O'Reily story. It's coming along okay - this first one is the one that's going to need the most work, I think. Hope to have it up by Thursday at the latest, Tuesday at the earliest.
Bottom line is - I'm going to have to play hooky at least once every two months.
I broke down and watched the final episode again. I do love the fact that I see more of McManus in that hour forty minutes than in the other 7 episodes of the season. I don't think that's an exaggeration. Now that I've done that, I've got to bring it to work and lend it to my co-worker who has been waiting a little bit to see it.
By the way, this is my moment to state my love for Television Without Pity (there's a link in the sidebar). It fills in the blanks where the transcripts leave off and does it with a sense of humor. (Click on Shows on the banner at the top of the page & then scroll down till you get to Oz) It came in very handy for me tonight since I had to do research on a Season Two moment. I wonder if my sister has even removed a DVD from either box yet. (I'm not kicking myself right now, really I'm not - OW!)
