So I managed to get through the afternoon, asthma-free. The cat wound up back outside (I had nothing to do with that) so that made me (literally) breathe a bit easier. The boss' wife made him a nice little cardboard house for him to stay in. She shows more compassion toward 4-legged creatures than 2-legged ones. So the workday ended blessedly uneventful.
So who is taking over for me when I resign from my Friday night group at the end of the month? Princess Lite, the Solo Queen (all titles given in love, really). He'll be very good in the role and I'm really pleased that he's going to come on board - it makes my going all the easier. We had a really wild and refreshing discussion tonight on emotionally safe sex (not me and Princess Lite, the whole group). It was the first time I heard somebody actually say that a person may find long-term relationships to be in their "unsafe/no way on God's green earth am I doing that" zone. Halle-fricking-lujah! This is something that should be taught from nursery school forward.
I am beginning to think that spending the weekend on Oz Magi might not be such a bad idea. There are several things about it that appeal to me. And I also want to get it done. I am going to have to go Christmas shopping at some point as well, but I may wind up putting that off until next week.
