Found this little blurb about the NHL octopi controversy this morning, the acticle itself is pretty standard, but the reactions say it all...

BTW, this whole issue is pretty moot if the Wings don't score at all. Just saying (and hoping!)

Here's the article.

Ah, Belloq. Your sexy evilness has never been matched, not even by quasi-redheaded Russian women.

So I saw IJ4. I walked in with the expectation that it would not suck and walked out with a smile on my face. It was enjoyable.

High points:
1. Marion- it's so nice to see Indy with a girl that could hold her own and there's no one better suited to him than Marion Ravenswood
2. The kid - liked him a lot and he didn't take away from the action. Might be the best sidekick in all of the IJ movies
3. The sly references to other Sean Connery movies - I was halfway through the response "It is an ancient Hindu text quoted by an American" (The Hunt for Red October) before Harrison Ford and Cate Blanchett put their spin on it. And the "knife to a gunfight" reference is pure James Malone (The Untouchables).
4. The music. It didn't hurt to have John Williams back as the composer and there was a lot of music cues that harkened back to the first one.
5. Cate Blanchett asking for a pencil - in Russian. (Maybe only a high point for me).

Low points:
1. Sometimes there was a bit of a video game feel to it - like we were switching from level to level with each new bit of action
2. I don't like ants. That is all.
3. I know there was a bunch of explanation/exposition in the first three films, but this time it just felt overly long.
4. Spoiler Alert )
5. Homages are great but they seemed to borrow a LOT from "Raiders". And I mean, a LOT. Especially in the beginning.

So those are my initial feelings on the film. Saw some decent previews, including one with Guy Pearce who is still sexy as all hell. Can't for the life of me remember the title of the film though. And "Hancock" actually looks interesting.
