The apartment search didn't go on as long as I feared. My parents were able to find something that they both liked and slightly bigger than the house we've spent the last 40+ years. It's 2 bedroom (mine is about the same size as my old room) but my room will strictly be my room and I won't have to worry about other people going in and out to retrieve various and sundry things that they've stored there. It's also got two baths, which means I can sleep in a little bit on Sunday mornings and not lead the parade into the single bathroom. The kitchen is small but it's smartly set-up, so people should actually be able to move around it without getting too much in each other's way - my mom wanted to bring the entire dish cabinet from the house - I laughed at her when she said that because there's plenty of cabinet space. Reining her in is going to be the challenge because she's decided she wants new living room furniture and she always tends toward the oversized and crowded. I'm more of a minimalist, but we'll see how things actually skew when we get there which isn't for another six weeks at least.
Ok, enough procrastinating (yeah, right), got to get back to work on my Oz Lyric Wheel story.
