My fervor for spring training has dimmed somewhat with the news that Andy Pettitte is retiring. Damn, I'm gonna miss him. My Dad and I saw him the first year he pitched. It was the first game he pitched in where he really clicked. Before that he hadn't been that good(in fact,my Dad was looking at the scoreboard and when we saw Andy Pettitte as the pitcher he groaned)but after that he went on to have a good year. Oh well,I'm sure I'll regain my anticipation by the time spring training starts.
