Well, Winnepeg does have a new team (acquired from Atlanta) who are still going to be the Jets. (Odd, that it puts to mind a song from West Side Story.) I love most of the Western Conference teams - Vancouver and San Jose being the exceptions - though the relationship I have with the Red Wings is situational at best. I do like the Devils and the Leafs and the Canadiens, of course.
History-wise, I might agree with you about the Dodgers, but when I was living in LA, I was glad to have a team there (and I don't consider the Angels to be any part of LA, no matter what they say - because if you have to drive for more than an hour to get to a game when the traffic is light, it's no longer in your city - and technically, it's not even in LA County either).
