cmk418One word that sounds so wonderful right about now. Another non-stop day, then out again tomorrow night - I'm looking forward to my free time on Thursday (when I'll do laundry - whee!) For someone who has no life, I manage to keep myself busy. Had a meeting tonight to go over the plan for my church group on Friday. Lots of ideas going back and forth - we did some major retooling and streamlining.
Speaking of streamlining, I feel like I'm slogging through quicksand with the Said prompt for the 5 for 6 - 5 Times Kareem Said Wishes He Wasn't a Muslim. It's all over the place. I think fairly soon I'm going to have to put Said on that island with Keller and only pull him out for very special occasions. Maybe I'll just start over from scratch, or mostly scratch. I've just got to keep at it and it'll come. Right now it's like working with a yo-yo, Said wants out and then he gets sucked back in (maybe it's like working with Michael Corleone. BTW, I managed to restrain myself from making "Godfather" references in the Schibetta thing, it would be extremely silly to throw one in with Said).
That's the sleep deprived brain at work. I'm outta here.
