Believe it or not, I generally don't see Ryan/Miguel. Never really understood where fandom's fascination with that pairing was coming from. But, reading this, it didn't matter because you made them work.
That was fantastic! I loved the fast-forward at the end, and the happy ending, and the reference back to the 'ain't no' issue of the prologue.
