Anti-climactic

Well the concert seemed to be well-received by all the attendees - I wasn't really into it. I think I was so relieved that the thing from last night was over, that this just felt "phoned in" for me tonight. My focus and my energy wasn't there. Everybody else did quite a nice job though.

I have got to work on Magi. I've been putting it off for too long. I have been writing it out longhand in my Ozfic notebook (I had to make one specifically for it) but I haven't transferred any of it into the computer yet. Part of it is that I'm not feeling the pressure of the deadline or the need to keep pace with anyone else, since none of the other stories have been posted yet. I think I just need something to inspire me to get the daggone thing finished. The weird thing is that it's only Magi where I'm blocked - I can do the 100+ word drabbles for hardtime100 just fine. Maybe it's the difference between pleasing myself and having to fulfill someone else's expectations.

If it makes you feel any better, I just realized yesterday that I was writing (more like 'picking at') the wrong assignment.
