First, definitely, I have to rec the Peter Schibetta fic written for me by

myhappyface called By the Book (the one to hold the strings). Peter here is perhaps the strongest that I've seen him portrayed, in the moments outside of his father's shadow, he really seems to have a good grasp of the business and looks to be a capable successor. And I love the subtle Godfather reference in the title.

Next, the Tim McManus section:

The Man Who Would Be King - This story by

levitatethis is a pretty unflinching look at what happens between McManus and Kenny after the sexual harassment accusation. Tim's internal monologue in the counseling session is wonderfully spiteful and the ending really captures Tim's willingness to fight for what he thinks is important.

Tidings of Comfort & Joy AND Just Desserts by

natlet - I love stories dealing with the Oz staff and these two are just wonderful. The first features mistletoe that has been put up and taken down fifty-two times, a secret Santa gift exchange, inappropriate religious displays, and fruitcake all engineered by an unlikely suspect. The second is a very sweet (pun intended) story with McManus & Murphy's friendship at its core.

Theories of Relativity - Epic fic written by

marythefan set during the later seasons of OZ and dealing specifically with McManus and a time-traveling Sean Murphy. There's a lot of h/c going on here and it's interesting to see the development of their relationship throughout. It's definitely worth taking the time to read.

Other things worth checking out:

The Winning Hand - This is a AU fic written by

ozsaur where Keller is the father of Claire's child. It has some delightfully wicked humor laced through it and unfortunately for Toby, the characterizations of the three protagonists (Toby, Chris, and Claire) are dead-on. It's a fun read.

Crossfire -

katej put together this lovely vid showcasing the seductive power of Chris Keller in his relationship with Ryan O'Reily. Personally, I think Ryan gives as good as he gets here. Much hotness all around.

Five Months - Another AU, this time Alvarez/Mukada by

lisacali. Mukada's still a priest and Alvarez comes to him for help. It's interesting how different touches from Alvarez's canon are woven into the story which still contains the UST that we associate with the two of them.

And last, but not least:

I wrote two stories Backwards, which is an AU through Season Four featuring Miguel Alvarez and Donald Groves and Free Fall, a mostly pre-series fic about Augustus Hill and Supreme Allah.
