Very nice story, and beautiful written. I really liked that back-and-forth POV. I haven't seen this movie in years, but I vividly remember that final scene and thinking, "oh, there's so much there." (Actually, this story works even if you haven't seen the movie.)
Somewhere in my CD collection is the soundtrack to this movie, and now I'm in the mood to dig it up and listen to it...
