Sugar rush

cmk418It's Easter and I may have overloaded on the sweets today. We had my aunt and my sister's family over for dinner. Mom cooked up a storm. It was a delicious dinner. She made a white cake with whipped cream icing (covered with coconut) for dessert and that may have been the tipping point.
In other news, since it is "First Contact" day for the Trekkies among us, we watched the movie today. I don't think I've seen it since it was in the theater but it still was quite enjoyable. My mom isn't a fan of the Borg, so getting her to watch TNG when we get to that point in the timeline might be a big ask. The Queen was pretty cool though.
