Tuesday recap

Had an odd day at work in that my boss called me because the truck he had taken had broken down. I arranged for a tow truck and then had to go out there because it was in a spot where the county would tow it if they got there before our tow. The boss had arranged one of my former-soon-to-be-future techs to pick him up because they were going to lunch and didn't want to abandon the car. By the time I got there, our guy had it pretty well on the truck. Boss called and asked if I wanted him to get me something from the place they were having lunch. I said no, I'd just go back to the office. And his response was- "But you're my ride!" Alrighty then.

So I had a nice lunch, caught up with our former/future tech, and got to spend roughly two hours out of the office. Not too shabby.

I spent a bit of the morning re-arranging the schedule because one of my tech's mom passed away so he wasn't coming in. So we currently have one tech to run service. Whee. Lucky for me, it's cool out.

Spent most of tonight watching the Cardinals-Pirates game. Cardinals won on a walk-off home run. One of these days the Pirates will beat them.

My sister sent me a card for my nephew's high school graduation. I think I should be okay during it. I am dreading the college send-off though. He's going to be 18 in 2 days. He's the one that's going to the NHL draft with me and his mom. Just a great all-around kid.

I found out there was a reptile house near where we're staying outside of Toronto and I want to go.
