I was greeted by the strangest most intense sunset that I've seen in a long time. The sun was out of view, but right on the horizon, the sky was a brilliant shade of red, off to the northwest were strips of grey-blue clouds, and then just above the red was some pastel yellow
Ok, THIS is weird...because I was walking to the liquor store (to get *milk*) at probably the same time you saw that because I saw the exact same thing...the sun was already down but the horizon was glowing red. I thought it was so beautiful I wanted to take a pic, but my damn cell phone was all I had and it didn't register the beautiful color. Wow, and as I stood looking at it, with my dog staring at me thinking "Come ON already!" I thought, "You know, I wonder if anyone else actually pays attention to things like this anymore..." ...and I find out someone actually DOES. =o) I'm SoCal too, btw, which is why this is weird. ;o)
