cmk418Highlights of life as I know it
Work is still not great. Too busy and the people who are set aside to help me either: don't show up or get sent out on other assignments.
Had squaredancing tonight. It was fun but a major workout for my brain.
Baby Frodo will be arriving Wednesday - less than 36 hours from now. And yes, I may still call him Frodo even after he's born.
I don't think rooting for Nashville would have changed anything, but the hated (HATED!) Wings are heading to the Cup finals against Pittsburgh. Yawn. And, go Penguins, of course. I intend to write something about the season-that-was when the playoffs are over. Oh, and if I don't mention it before the end of everything, could whoever wins the Conn Smythe PLEASE smack Gary Bettman on the head with the trophy? It would really make my day.
The ants are taking up residence again. I really need to get baits.
Been writing (and reading) a lot of BtVS fic lately to the exclusion of my other fandoms. I need to plug away at the Shivs and Shanks story and get that done by Sunday. (It's McManus-Murphy, but they're not cooperating as well as I'd like). And I've been listening to "Touch Me" on the "Spring Awakening" soundtrack, which inspires certain aspects of "Great Risks".
Also did 4 script pages last night which did not suck too badly. I might try to crank out another scene or page or two before bed.
