This and that

Was surprised to see the Cubs-Sox game on FOX today. I thought for sure we'd be stuck with New York. Game was pretty good even though the Sox wound up winning. I'll be glad when interleague play is over - the past week has been fairly brutal for my Cubbies.
Wifey deleted the comp time log from my computer. So it's like the 40 or so hours I put in didn't happen. Great. It's not worth rebuilding, but that's something that just makes me glad I'm leaving. Settling into a week of billing next week. One more cycle to go after this one. Yay!
Set up an appointment with a temp agency. I'm not taking any time off between jobs. I'd rather just dive in and start working again.
My sister offered me a job - live-in nanny for Ethan. It's a nice offer, but I actually like it out here so I'm going to stay put.
Went out tonight with a friend of mine to see the L.A. Gay Men's Chorus. It was great. They did a salute to the 70s - with the requisite music, period clothes, and disco lighting. It was a wonderful show and I love all that music so I had a great time.
I might go see "Wanted" tomorrow. It seems like it'll be right up my alley.
I also am going to have to get some "professional clothes" soon. I want to get dresses, but I'm not sure I can carry off the uber-feminine look (think Hilary Swank going to the Oscars after "Boys Don't Cry" - I'm a girl. See?) Nobody wears dresses anymore. It's a little disappointing really.
