I remember seeing it at the theater either a second or third time and vowing not to cry and failing miserably.

I think I'll blame the movies for my abandonment issues...

ET was the very first movie I saw in this country. I had no idea what the hell they were saying but I GOT it.

Miracle - was that the hockey movie? Because I really liked that one, too! (Y'know, if it was the hockey one... lol.)

I think Becoming Jane is in my netflix queue. Was it bad acting, a poor script, or just general yuckiness?

Miracle is the hockey movie. I have it on DVD, but won't put it on unless I know I have the two hours to watch it because once it starts, I'm in for the duration.

Becoming Jane, for me at least, was about two pretty people that should've had their heads smacked together. Granted, if I went in having an appreciation for Miss Austen, then maybe I would have liked it better. But, as it was, it went on WAAAAY too long.
