I don't think I'm going to see "Max Payne", but I find it very interesting that Donal Logue has a part in this film.

Maybe it all depends on taste. I mean, I don't watch Mark Wahlberg movies for the quality most of the time. I watch for BOOMS! and CRASH! and SHIRTLESS!

I will say that I did enjoy "The Italian Job" and critics hated it.

Planet of the Apes is a movie that I'd like to forget. I saw it on an airplane and I'm not really sure if I kept the headphones in the whole time.

Oh, man, don't have to suspend your disbelief for POTA. You have to expel it and use all the pull in your back pocket to make sure it never attends another school in your district.

THEN, when you look at it as this fairy tale, you can really appreciate it. Like, the idea of gorillas being the keepers of spirituality really rings true from what I know of apes. Also, Orangutans as political and business leaders, well, that's another thing that resonated with me.

Hey, where would Billy live in LA? What's a poor, not entirely safe area, one that still has lots of working class families? I'm thinking somewhere where Billy would feel more at home, more comfortable. Also, a family place? Davis is working on a cop's salary and what ever job her husband has. Where do white, middle class people live in LA? Is it a race, then class thing, like Winnipeg? Or is it split first along class, then along race lines, like Vancouver?

Oh, I don't know where I'd put Billy. It's mostly a race than class thing here, because L.A.'s a city of neighborhoods, and every ethnic group has one (and then the higher ends of the crappy towns get renamed because the residents want to disassociate themselves). Maybe Billy would be good in Panorama City. It's on the valley side of the hill and from what I've heard can be both affordable and a little dicey. Since Davis was transferred to the North Hollywood division, she probably has enough rank to get somewhere reasonably close to home, so maybe Studio City, West Toluca Lake or Burbank.

I know certain things from being here for 7 years, but I don't get out a heck of a lot, so I'm not really an expert.
