You should definitely check out the gilesxander community. There's been a whole slew of fics this month and all of them have been really terrific (not just mine *g*).

It's weird because I was away from Buffy after the middle of the 4th season and earlier this year I fell into this crossover fic for the Simon round at maleslashminis that was Simon (from Firefly) and Giles, which got me interested in looking at Giles stories. Honestly, I thought I was going to be squicked by the pairing, but wound up falling in love with it (I still won't read the underage stuff on principle, but everything else I devour like a madwoman). So I marathon-watched Buffy in order to start writing for them.

I Fucking love you!!!! (sorry fro the french). I started with this fandom for the Xander X Spike slash, but then it came lame. That's when I changed to giles x xander. But Buffyverse fics rox!

Hey it's the good French! I find that BtVS fic can be very well written in some places and excruciatingly terrible in others. But I guess it's like that in most fandoms - although OZ is pretty consistently good, I'd have to say.

That's one of the reason this fandom captured me so quickly, in general it has pretty good writers! But BtVS has good stuff too, actually my favorite OTP there is William / Angelus
