It's like Christmas
Sep. 5th, 2006 06:44 amIt's Oz Release Day - the day I've looked forward to since I watched the deleted scenes on my Season 5 DVD (the first time). Why is it that Hill's death always makes me so sad? I was in tears again last night, and I had watched that scene within the past two months, so I really shouldn't have been that affected by it. Is it because it marks the end of Hill the prisoner, or because it's the end of the season? I will not let myself watch the final episode before Friday, lest I be all blotchy going into work the next day. But enough happens before that to help my emotions run the gamut. I can recall seeing parts of 4 episodes on cable (the end of episode 3.4 where Kenny sings, one in season 4 when they're talking about Gloria's rape, the beginning of Variety which I thought was weird at the time, and the end of the penultimate episode - I was in a hotel room somewhere - which shocked the hell out of me). I don't know why I bring this up now, but there you go. Don't have much time for anything else at the moment.
