My Blackhawks have a winning streak going - 2 in a row. It's amazing.

Heard from my sister finally. She gave up after two episodes. It's a little disappointing. To be honest, I wasn't fully immersed in it until the fourth episode and then something just clicked and I had to keep watching. I don't know what it is about Fontana and fourth episodes, but they seem to be consistently very good. It's an odd thing. "Unnatural Disasters" (3.4)is probably my favorite single episode of the series. There's so much great dialogue, Hill's narration isn't completely annoying, Stanislavsky shows up, Beecher starts his revenge on Schillinger, Wangler gets interesting, and Adebisi sings in a moment that gives me chills just thinking about it. So I'll be getting my S1 & 2 back in 11 days and that's a very good thing.

I was home after church for half an hour & then had to head out for a meeting that had me out from 5:30 until 11. So I wrote a few words on the new segment, but not enough to finish a good first draft. I still intend on getting it out by Tuesday & hope to have the whole project over in time for Thanksgiving the last one (who will be extremely obvious by Friday) may take the better part of a week).

Oz Magi requests come out tomorrow. I'm just praying that there are a few secondary characters out there for me to play with & read about. Even if it's a scene between Claire & Omar.

Having a good day so far today. Wifey's not in the office (boss isn't even in yet), it's payday, and I figured out a way to work around the biggest problem in the latest part of the O'Reily project. I'm also pretty pleased that the Oz Magi list - gives me a few to choose from (and I won't have to resort to Claire/Omar after all)

Well, my luck kinda ran out after writing that post this morning because my boss strolled in with the wife trailing after him. Actually, she wasn't too bad today which was a nice change.

I think I was able to get a lot done, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm still working on typing reports from the beginning of October & I should technically be through the month by now. I have a big pile of mail sitting in one basket and another stack of typing that is stacked on a chair by my desk. It's very sad. And next week the boss & his wife are out so I get to do both their jobs as well. I love my job. Really I do. It's just very very busy.

Off to get started on O'Reily Part 3. This is the hard one, so you can already guess who is involved.

Random observations about Oz Magi. It's a weird kind of diversity. I fully expected there to be more B/K or crossover with Lee & Chris, and at least as much Alvarez as O'Reily. McManus & Said were represented as well as I could expect. I wish there had been a bit more of Vern though. And I'm thrilled that Nat Ginsberg, Jia Kenmin, and Andrew Schillinger (!) made the list. I came up with 6 or 7 wishes that grabbed me, so there will be backups (maybe) if I have to go another round. I'm looking forward to reading them all.
