Work and other things
Nov. 13th, 2006 11:07 pmWell, my luck kinda ran out after writing that post this morning because my boss strolled in with the wife trailing after him. Actually, she wasn't too bad today which was a nice change.
I think I was able to get a lot done, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm still working on typing reports from the beginning of October & I should technically be through the month by now. I have a big pile of mail sitting in one basket and another stack of typing that is stacked on a chair by my desk. It's very sad. And next week the boss & his wife are out so I get to do both their jobs as well. I love my job. Really I do. It's just very very busy.
Off to get started on O'Reily Part 3. This is the hard one, so you can already guess who is involved.
Random observations about Oz Magi. It's a weird kind of diversity. I fully expected there to be more B/K or crossover with Lee & Chris, and at least as much Alvarez as O'Reily. McManus & Said were represented as well as I could expect. I wish there had been a bit more of Vern though. And I'm thrilled that Nat Ginsberg, Jia Kenmin, and Andrew Schillinger (!) made the list. I came up with 6 or 7 wishes that grabbed me, so there will be backups (maybe) if I have to go another round. I'm looking forward to reading them all.
