Saturday seems to have gotten away from me. It's almost 8PM and I feel like I've done nothing today. Spent way too much time online. I did make some general attempts at cleaning and I did go and pick up a bus pass & then went to the store, but I really feel like I have a whole lot more that needs to get done and very little time to do it in before I've got to run around like a mad bunny tomorrow morning.
Been reading a lot of Firefly fic today - some Simon/Mal & some River/Jayne. Both are very well done series which I read from the beginning.
Work yesterday was awful. Clients were being ridiculously demanding. The boss left the office at 10 for a simple job that turned more complicated and kept him out the rest of the day. His wife was in. She's not so bad when they're separated, or at least she wasn't yesterday (by next week, I'll be wanting her out of the office again). I had to run around on a couple of different things that kept me out of the office for about an hour. That was about the point when I realized that I wasn't gonna get anything done for the day.
It's starting to feel cooler in here, so maybe I will take the initiative and put the tree up, maybe watch a little of first season "Oz" when I do it - yes, I know Season 3 has the whole "very special Christmas episode" but if I put in S3, we all know I'm just going to watch the first 4 episodes anyway. And Season 1 will be fun to watch anyway.
Toying with the idea of working with Beecher/McManus - my co-worker's request. It's his birthday coming up in a couple of days, so maybe that would be something nice to do for him. Of course, knowing him, he might just decide to do a dramatic interpretation of anything I write in the workplace (which could be a little embarrassing, even if I write it really, really well).
