Weird day

So I woke up with a headache that I haven't shaken yet. I managed to lose my transit pass halfway between the train & the bus (sort of good because they actually were checking passes on the train today) so I had to go back and get another one before I got home. And then, who walks into church midway through rehearsal, but the princess. It was strange. Very polite. I generally run either a love-hate thing with her, so merely being civil seems like a non-reaction. Maybe it's just the shock of seeing her alive or something. Or maybe I have put it all behind me. (yeah, right)

Sitting here listening to the Ducks-Kings game on TV - The Kings are up by a goal, but the Ducks announcers make it sound like the Kings have lost the game already. There's almost a period left so anything can happen. When my dad & I were at the game in St. Louis there was an announcement that went something like "Join us for Amateur Hockey Night on December 21 when your St. Louis Blues host the Los Angeles Kings". I got a big laugh out of that. I think they should have had someone proofread that copy. My Hawks have a winning streak (3!) going since they got rid of their coach. Very proud of them.

I still have not put the Christmas tree up and I don't have much intention of doing it today. It's only a little after 7 and I really feel like heading to bed. I usually have more energy than this, seems like the past couple of weeks have really taken their toll. I don't get sick very much and I think this is just allergies/sinus/migraine stuff and will run its course fairly soon.
