Procrastination...
Jan. 6th, 2007 10:21 pmWarning: Rather pointless rambling ahead...
I can see my desk. For the first time in weeks. This is a good thing. I tend to accumulate clutter very quickly, but I always work better without it so right now I'm quite the happy bunny. I think part of this cleaning thing has to do with procrastination since I've been seized with a wild desire to do a little screenplay work and an irrational fear of actually doing a little screenplay work, so I've spent most of the day reading fic or watching the first season of "Dinner for Five" (absolutely fascinating viewing for someone who loves actors). And now I'm in the midst of cleaning the apartment. Actually this is a good thing because once the cleaning is done and the tree gets put away for another year, I can free myself to do some cooking or maybe watch "Cool Hand Luke" or a little bit of Season One of "Oz". I'm not crazy enough to think the procrastinating is over with. I do like the fact that I'm being kept busy though because my brain has been caught up with wacky thoughts all day long. So I'd best get back to work with something/anything for a little bit longer until I get ready to start all of this over again tomorrow.
