(no subject)

Is it weird that I decided to type the name of job search engines into my web browser at work, just in case someone decides to do a little snooping? I am seriously getting sick of my job - not that I think the trip to Vegas is going to be the cure-all, but it'll be nice not to have to worry about things for a while.

I turned the baseball game on for a minute, then turned it off again. It's not pretty. But it's probably just a case of too much rest that's having an impact. The Rockies will be back at it soon enough.

Why do the Red Wings keep winning? They need to stop. And soon. The Hawks had over 25 shots again last night and they're making Patrick Kane sound like the second coming. I hope Nik is healthy - giving up 6 isn't really like him. I have another Kings game tomorrow. They play Dallas - it would be nice to see them win in person (qualified, in a game that doesn't take place on January 1 or February 23, 2008)

My sister is going to have a baby (Nick! - okay, so I don't know the sex of it yet, but that's what I'm calling him for the moment). It's her first. I'm not as excited as I should be, but putting it in perspective, if Steven Soderbergh walked through my front door right now and told me he was going to greenlight my script "Closure" immediately, I would probably just say, "Well that's just grand." and then kick him out because I'm so bloody exhausted.

I'm in the process of writing something. It's original. Very dark. I just don't know what it is yet. It's working like several long monologues at this point, but I can see interaction happening at different points throughout. So maybe a play, but I've never written one of those, so I'm not really sure. I'm planning on giving it to my brother and maybe (if he likes it) he can figure out something to do with it. It's written for a male lead anyway, who else would I have in mind?
