Those were the first words my boss said to me this morning. It seemed that he finally noticed the stack of 400+ documents to type that has been building on my desk for the past couple of months. I told him that we weren't starting anything - that we were knee-deep in it. I tried to get things done today, but then one of our clients had decided to e-mail (individually) - 70+ status requests on various jobs (over half of which she knew about already), so that took up my entire afternoon - goodbye, progress. I'll have to go in this Saturday again and try to clear some of it out.
So, needless to say, I was looking forward to my pre-game mai tai tonight at Staples Center. The Kings did not play very well, but their goaltender was outstanding and they wound up winning. The game was pretty exciting, and as a bonus, many of the Hawks rivals (Phoenix in particular) lost tonight.
On that subject, I'll let those of you who are curious check the standings from time to time. I'm not saying anything more until the smoke clears sometime in April, but there've been happy developments.
In the time I haven't been spending at work or listening to hockey, I've been putting together invitations for my sister's baby shower. 37 of them went in the mail. It's absolutely crazy how big the family is and that's just the local women and girls. I've also been drabbling a teensy bit, will get back into the longer stuff sooner or later, but for now it's what I can do.
I'm off to bed before my head hits the keyboard.
