Freaky Friday

I don't think I've accomplished a whole lot today. I've been noodling with my application for one of the local temp agencies (they want everything but a blood sample) - note to everyone: learn from the wisdom of my ways - keep a resume or job file updated with everything. EVERYTHING. Dates, salaries, supervisors' names, every temp assignment you've ever worked on - you'll thank me later.

This process is beyond awful.

But staying where I am is much, much worse.

So, on we go.

Went and looked at dresses today. I found a 2-piece dress that I would have liked to have tried on, but since some brain trust fastened the security device through the bottom of the top and the bottom of the skirt, there was no way that was happening. I have one dress here, but it's kind of dressy for an interview. I might be able to pull something nice together with a skirt and top, but I'll have to see what I have and what works.

I really hate Love Songs on the Coast (KOST). Why the heck am I listening to it? And why is the chick that's hosting calling "Precious and Few" a patriotic love song? After she grills the caller about whether he's a US Citizen. She should be slapped. Repeatedly.

Going to get my hair cut tomorrow. It needs it. And then to the local cheese shop with some friends. Should be a good time.

I keep forgetting it's Friday and that I have two more days off. I should be happier about this, really.

ETA - It's only July and my beloved Blackhawks have their first injury of the season. Wis should be back in time for the opener though, which is good.
