May. 31st, 2014 01:26 pmI finally was able to get some prompts in for the upcoming (as in tomorrow) Prompt-a-thon for Oz. There are some doozies out there that I'd love to get my hands on (
ozsaur, I'll just say "wow"). There's still a few hours left to prompt so if you haven't and want to the link is here.
Work has been ok. I spent 4 hours yesterday at the photocopier and putting together contractor materials that will be given out on Monday. It was a fairly unproductive week despite my boss being gone for 3 days (which usually means I can get some work done).
Plans for the Ohio trip are slowly developing - got my Columbus visitors guide today. I guess there might be other things to see aside from the inside of Nationwide Arena (where the Blue Jackets play) but I am hoping to schedule it to crash some of training camp.
On Monday, I was finally able to see the Yankees live for the first time in my baseball watching life. It was great - the team and fans had a nice send-off for Derek Jeter. The game was so-so - they had an hour delay at the start because "it might rain" - I think it rained more during the actual game than during the delay. I understand the rationale, but at the same time, I wonder when things got so ridiculous - it's not something you would have seen ten years ago.
My Hawks are still playing - I have a 25% chance of heading up to Chicago again this June. Fingers crossed that by the time that Monday rolls around, it will have increased to 50%.
I'm toying with the idea of actually participating in CampNaNoWriMo this July instead of just signing up. I've got a lot of editing/adding to do with what I wrote last year, so I think if I dedicate some time to that, it may be beneficial. (And that way, I can go with an original idea come November when NaNo rolls around.
Hope you all are well.
