So I went to CVS tonight to pick up some Atomic fireballs and some real Sudafed (not the Sudafed PE crap that doesn't work but some honest to goodness pseudoephedrine). Apparently since the meth problem has gotten out of hand, they are taking all of the Sudafed off the shelves and keeping them in secure locations (either back in the pharmacy, or locked up with the cigarettes). But that's not all, they require identification and take down your name and address. Some cop could come knocking on the door of my apartment looking for a meth lab. My tiny one room studio. It's ridiculous. There was a lady behind me who wanted to cut ahead of me as the checker was in the middle of ringing me up. It wasn't happening. She probably works for one of our clients.

We're getting help or at least thinking about getting help in a few months, when the workload is at its lightest, they'll reassess. Sigh.

I didn't mention this yesterday, but new choir director decided to give me a quasi-solo. Basically I have the melody all to myself and five or six guys will be singing the harmony. I would say they'd be singing the harmony underneath me, but it will probably be all harmony. I just hope they turn off the monitors facing us so I don't hear myself (that makes me more nervous than anything else).

Almost left without mentioning this, I caught the end of the Hawks game tonight. They are so good. I feel more optimistic than I have in ages. The Cardinals looked pretty sick maybe the rain is affecting them.

Okay, now I'm going to finish playing with Schibetta, should be up and running tonight and then on to Halloween.

BTW, I really wish that LJ would put in a "learn" feature on its spell-check. I'd love to be able to type "Schibetta" or "Adebisi" without having them show up in red every time.
