In about six hours, I'm going to have to head out for the airport. I really don't think it's going to be too bad as far as leaving goes since most of the people (I'm assuming) are gone already. But who knows. This is the latest I've gotten to Thanksgiving at my parent's house. It'll be nice though, albeit cold for this California girl.

I had a perfectly wonderful and awful day today. I was at work early - we had breakfast in again, it was really nice. But certain members of the staff (my staff) were acting like assholes. (Not the nicest word in the world, but the most descriptive). I just got pissed off because we've been really working our asses off this past week and they decide to screw around. Maybe it's just because I spent 8 hours of my 10 hour day working on the mail, only to have another pile of it placed on my desk (and believe me, there will be a second pile, either on my desk or in the mail basket come my return Tuesday morning). A lot of my mood though may also be as a result of the boss coming back. He's got to, if for no other reason than to sign the payroll checks, but it just seems like the end of something good. I'm getting really discouraged with the sheer volume of work in that place and the fact that when I bring it up, it falls on deaf ears. And the next person who'll bring it up will be one of the clients, so it's a no-win situation. Sorry to go on about this, I'm just trying to purge my system in order to have the best possible weekend.

O'Reily is done. I'm not really sure about the last bit. I'm never sure. It'll be good to move forward to the next project - Oz Magi (and I'll be greatly surprised if the prompt belongs to anyone on my friends list, but who knows). And there's always time to write a little McManus.
