General Unease
Oct. 23rd, 2006 09:55 pmI feel like I'm River in that episode of "Firefly" - "Objects in Space" - where she's the voice of Serenity & she's everywhere. Strangely enough I found myself reading fic on the Firefly boards last night, I am very interested in Jayne fic - he's my favorite character, but the stories there run the gamut - boy/boy, girl/girl, het, and then just random stories. I like reading them, but I wouldn't feel comfortable writing them until I have the DVDs.
I feel like I've been writing too much, but maybe that's just how it is for now and it will wind down in a few months when I settle into a groove. Right now I just want to write and write and write some more. I would love to take tomorrow off work and just sit at home and write. There's a weird sort of discipline that has developed. I used to procrastinate, but now I'm trying to get things done relatively quickly and get it out there.
Despite my being a bit hard on American League pitchers in my sports rant last evening, I have to give Kenny Rogers credit for pitching 8 incredible innings of baseball tonight. And the dude plays defense too. At 41. There's an exception to every rule (except the rule that says that there's an exception to every rule). Too bad he had to do it against my Cardinals though.
