Meanderings
Dec. 12th, 2006 09:32 pmThere doesn't seem to be enough time lately to do everything I'd like to get done. I still don't have the Christmas tree up (this is extremely late - I once put it up in October) and the time is coming to make a decision to either do it or forget about it. I'm not going to be here for Christmas and I'm barely going to have any time next weekend to do anything that doesn't involve church, getting my haircut, shopping or Soderbergh. Hey, the fact that I'm waiting until Saturday to see "The Good German" says a lot for my restraint (it opens Friday). Was on the Universal lot today - I get to do pickups there sometimes for work. There's something charming about it - at least to me - it just seems like a place where everybody should be happy to go do a job at every day. The rational part of me knows that to be a big lie - jobs are jobs no matter where they are. I'd like to stop by human resources one day, but that might conflict with the ultimate dream (3 picture deal at Paramount).
I also am dragging my feet on Magi. It's not making me crazy or anything, I'm just not focused on it as much as I should be.
At least I'm getting my laundry done. That's one small thing out of the way for the rest of the week.
