So I went to Target today and did a little shopping. Some things I noticed-

I should not be allowed anywhere near the DVD section if I have money (which today I didn't, thank God) - I could put a serious dent in a paycheck there and still not be done. And now they have an IFC section - where "Exotica" is only $7.99. All 3 Godfather movies combined would run less than my original VHS copies of "The Godfather". There was a lot there that I wouldn't mind adding to my collection (and I didn't even look at half of it).

They have the very special Christmas Hershey kisses with the cherry cordial creme inside. I invested in a bag. Those & the mint flavored ones are my favorites.

They have new oval Kleenex boxes that are very pretty and should be purchased by people who have no need for tissues.

Unfortunately I did not make it over to the toy, kitchenware, or stationery aisles. (I will have to see if my niece got a male counterpart to Barbie yet. If she does, he'll need a "friend".)

It's been a pretty good day so far. I got about half of the next installment of the O'Reily project done, but tomorrow looks like it's going to be a very busy and crazy day so it may not hit the page until Tuesday.

My sister still hasn't responded to my e-mails asking if she watched "Oz". I'm beginning to think the DVDs are still in her suitcase. I brought her in to "Buffy", "Queer as Folk"(the UK version), and "Firefly". It's not like I've been guilty of steering her wrong as far as TV is concerned. So I don't see why she hasn't even commented on them yet. Absolute best case scenario, she tells me not to bring Season 3 because she's bought it for herself. I realize that "Oz" isn't for everyone - it's not something that I would have sat down & watched with the princess, for example - but I actually think my sister would like it if she gave it half a chance.

And I get to watch 2 seasons of "Angel" in exchange. Not a bad deal. (It was either that or "Gilmore Girls").

Bizarre aftereffect of not having television for six months, I don't turn it on as much anymore - might be due to sucky reception, might be because I only really like to watch "South Park" & football, or maybe it's just because I have no place for it right now. Although Craig Bierko is now on "Boston Legal" and that makes me happy.
