Been a little down lately so I decided to update a bookshelf that I had in my room. I think it was something that my brother had made many moons ago. It was just ordinary unfinished wood that I painted over with a cream colored base and then went a bit random with the acrylics.

*budges in* So I'd not heard of those Poohs and they are adorable! I feel better knowing they exist <3 Also, are they too squashy to fit under an arm, say, while sleeping? I'm in search of a new sleep-stuffie that is not too much squish. The Poohs look like they have a decent core, but they are apparently made of marshmallows??

Thank you! It's still very new. I might try a couple things on paper next to get some more practice in before launching into more metal work.

My nephew had his first communion this weekend and all the kids made banners. Most of the kids went crazy with the felt stickers they were using to decorate, but he just had his name down one side and 3 objects on the page which I thought was much more powerful than the ones that had used seven or eight stickers in their banners (but I may be a bit biased.) I did like the minimalism though.

They are so cute! And Squishmallow makes so many others, too. I think that the larger ones might hold up as a sleeping buddy. They're squashy but not flimsy if that makes sense. No, they're filled with a poly stuffing, I do believe, but they're supposed to feel soft like a marshmallow. :D

I had absolutely no idea! All those cute little faces!! Heeee.

Because I'm in Canada, I had to go through Chapters/Indigo and they didn't have a massive selection but I ended up (happily!) choosing a 20" Olga the Octopus; she's due on Friday, I am excited!

They've been a thing here for years. I used to find them at a local drugstore at the holidays and would get little ones for my girls. But they've become hugely popular.
