Are you on Facebook? Because assuming you haven't moved our Fave ML is running things through the StL Facebook without using the nano site.
Sadly, my local MLs are... non-existent, so there is no local community here.
Without the local community, I get all the misery and none of the fun.
So I'm not doing it.

I don't think it matters anymore. Folks here would love to see you. Most of the meetings are virtual except for the marathon and that might even be accessible by Discord. Grab a fanfic and join Zoom on a Tuesday night. Or OHHOW (One Hundred Hours of Writing on Twitch) which is just fun.

I was going to do a mini-wrimo (I've completed the July 10k challenge two years in a row now! :D) on my own with reporting daily word counts to the site, but after Everything, that's a big no. I deleted my Nano account.

I've been averaging about 500-600 words a day [night] via the writing group on the Magi Discord, and I plan to continue with that.

Your local meetup sitch sounds fun. Good luck with your 50k!
