Happy Valentine's Day

cmk418It's a little late but Happy Valentine's Day to all.
Spent the morning with the usual Saturday routine- grocery shopping with dad, yoga, weight training- and then helped clean the house because we're having the family over tomorrow.
Drove out in the rain to see my nephew's basketball game. He's a little rough around the edges, but he got 3 points and his team won so I considered it a success. From there we went to dinner at Bob Evans, so no worries about needing reservations or terribly long lines and it still was pretty good food.
I had to make an emergency run out to Wal-Mart to get an electric mixer. Our old one burned up (it was about 20 years old, so it happens).
I posted my final two fics for HalfaMoon. I'll post my list here and also some recs from the fest as well.

Date: 2026-02-16 09:19 pm (UTC)My MIL bought me a KitchenAid stand mixer the first year Troy and I were married - 1997 - and it's still kicking. I'll cry when it stops. I'll never forget her saying to me, "I'm the mother-in-law, I can buy you appliances." Hahaha.
