Another day closer to the weekend

cmk418It's practically Friday. I'm glad. It's going to take me a bit to get into a rhythm. It's April 2 and I'm already tired of people calling me about their air conditioners. *sigh*
Mom and I have been watching "The Count of Monte Cristo" miniseries on PBS. It's been quite enjoyable so far. I loved the book. It's been a long time since I've read it- I think I gave my copy to my nephew at one point when he was needing something on the lighter side. I'll have to ask him if he still has it.
My sister called to tell me that there was a playoff pre-sale happening. The Blues have an extremely slim chance of making it, but looking at the price (it would be a little over $300 for the whole series), it was a no-brainer to take a pass on them this year. Since we're going to see the Draft, I'm perfectly fine with them tanking and missing the playoffs by a mile.
