The Cubs have made the playoffs. They sort of backed in because it happened with a Milwaukee loss, but whatever works.

I am a little skeptical about their chances, but last year a National League Central Division team got in and won the Series (You didn't read that, really you didn't, because I'd be foolish to say anything that could possibly jinx it at this point, right?)

Hockey season starts tomorrow. Actually it starts in less than twelve hours. It'll be weird listening to a game at 9AM. And that's just the Kings & Ducks - everybody else will still be in the midst of pre-season games.

I have an idea for a "Bionic Woman" fic that I want to write. It's just devoting the time to work on it (and the other five or six ideas that are floating around my brain). So this might just turn out to be a fanfic weekend. Postings forthcoming - you have been warned.

Conogratulations on the Cubs winning-and I won't mention the sentence you crossed out so as not to jinx them!
The Yankees won too,so I am totally ecstatic for now ! I don't want to jinx them by making any predictions because as we constantly hear,anything can happen in a short series.I always want to yell at the announcers"NO-Are You Sure"? when they say things like that.
I am looking forward to reading your fics!
I've been doing alot of writing,also. When I get stressed the muses start doing angry/aggressive sex scenes in my head.So I've done some of those!

Jinxes are funny things. One should never mention the words "no-hitter" until it's blown. One should never mention that "Ozzie Smith has never hit a home-run right-handed." One should never mention that a team is FIVE OUTS AWAY from going to the Series (not that I'm bitter or anything). It's just asking for trouble (Okay, the Ozzie Smith thing totally worked to the Cardinals advantage). I'm glad the Yankees won. The playoffs feel much more real when they're in them.

I managed a chapter of "Great Risks" and a "Firefly" drabble and am currently working on something for "The Departed" and have a weird "Oceans 12" fic running through my brain, not to mention the very over-the-top femmeslash for "Bionic Woman"

Should I call it (Les)Bionic Woman? *g*

I never mention a no hitter-even to the person I might be watching the game with! And I cringe whenever I hear "so and so"has a horrible record against this pitcher(if he's on the other team he then promptly hits a home run) or "so and so"has been in an 0 for 15 slump(if he's on the other team,see above),etc.
I NEVER say that a team the Yankees will face is an easy team to beat, ever.

There was a character on All My Children (what?-I like the show!) named Bianca who was a lesbian and one of the characters called her "LesBianca" at times. That reminded me of your title.
Yes. I've posted two of the "aggressive" sex stories. One of them is meant to be more humorous than aggressive,though.
They're the last two entries in my journal-"Strawberry Milkshakes and Lollipops" which is totally a misnomer,as I state in the journal. The other is "Teach you some respect"....
Both are about the Yankees-the first one is Melky Cabrera/Robinson Cano (whom I suspect are having a real life relationship) and the other is Jorge Posada and a pitcher on the team.
