This is not panic. Really. It's not.

Nope. I have seven days until the full-on freak-out occurs.
If you couldn't decipher, still nothing new on the job front. I go in next Saturday for my court test, but I expect it to be a few weeks before anything comes of it.
A temporary assignment would be really good about now.
In other news, I've been writing. I finished up my first (of two) assignments for the BtVS Giles/Xander Octoberfest. I really wanted to write a bunch of short pieces, but the two ideas that caught my brain decided they wanted to be epics, so I had to go with that. I post on the 2nd and the 19th. I also did a Robson drabble for
hardtime100 as well as the latest part of Great Risks.
The Hawks sent a bunch of guys down the other day. Lalonde and Radja surprised me a bit.
I wasn't expecting Marty Havlat to play tonight, but why did Byfuglien sit out again? Can't figure that one out.
My aggravation with the first period must have echoed Denis' because they wound up shutting Minnesota down for the rest of the game. And scored 4 goals to win it. Yay! Standouts - Andrew Ladd & Patrick Sharp, of course, with all the goals. Troy Brouwer, who I'm pulling for. Adam Burish - who scored a disallowed goal (it counts where it counts), Brent Sopel - for his first penalty (not pleased with the rest, but defending JT earns you points in my book).
Huet makes me nervous. I think I'd feel better with Nik in goal.
I really need to clean my apartment. You'd think with all the time I'm spending here that I would be keeping up with the housework, but really, not so much.
